Emma puts many of the thoughts I have been having about the “new normal” and how abnormal that really is. How the grief still sneaks up on you when least expected and how you will grieve forever whether your loss is out-of-the-natural-order or not. Because we have lost our loved ones in the future, not just in the present. So true. We will always miss them and the ‘what might have been’.
