Terry and I are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all our friends, and Jake’s friends. We are truly humbled by your thoughts, words and fond remembrances of Jake. The best thing we can do is to celebrate his life, his love of life, and his gentle and caring nature. Our Beautiful Boy.
The grief diet is working. 7 pounds in two days. But I don’t recommend it.
Funeral service for Jake will be at Hillside, 6001 W. Centinela at Sepulveda, 3 PM on Tuesday the 31st, graveside. Join us at our home afterwards to celebrate his life and bring a memory with you.
Another blossom
gone too soon
A bud really
strong
round
bright
Withered-still closed
petal by petal
dropped
Only memory
only what might have been
Unknnown Author
He was a chef, an artist, a photographer, an inventor, a builder, a deep thinker, a lover, a laugher, a traveller, a caring friend to all, with the gift of brightening up any room he walked into. He encouraged everyone he met to excel, to strive for his or her fullest potential. A fiercely loyal friend who touched so many people.
Maybe if we all loved him just a little more, held on a little tighter, he wouldn’t have slipped away like this. I know Terry and I couldn’t have loved him any more. He was our everything.
